*Practical Yachtmaster
Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore prep. incur additional examination fees payable
to the RYA.
(£185 for the Yachtmaster Offshore examination and £160 for Yachtmaster Coastal)
Should the exam and examiner be booked then a nominal charge of £110/candidate payable
to JBY in advance secures the yacht for the exam period. (non refundable)
The course
commencement date is the night before your course, with an expected arrival time
of between 1900 and 2000. You can choose to arrive on the morning of your course
providing that you arrive at 0800 latest. Courses usually finish at 1700 on the final
day following wash up and debriefing.

Adults only + 24hrs POA) Please note that your vessel must be completely sea worthy
and meet the minimum safety requirements outlined in the RYA C8 Boat Safety handbook.
Please note that you are also responsible for all running costs throughout the duration
of the course including all accommodation and catering costs for the skipper. An
additional fee of £40/person is payable directly to the RYA on successful completion
of the ICC test. Only 2 candidates will be assessed in any one day.
ICC tests carried
out on JBY’s yachts would incur the full days charter fee POA. Candidates would be
responsible for the crewing of the yacht and running costs throughout the day.
Booking/Payment Terms and Conditions...
Prices are per person unless otherwise stated. Bookings should be confirmed within
7 days with a 25% deposit. Payment in full is required 6 weeks before the Course/Cruise/Event
to secure the booking. Should you cancel, this fee is non-refundable. Bookings made
within 6 weeks of the Course/Cruise/Charter/Event are to be paid in full at the time
of booking. All participants are required to complete the booking form and return
prior to the Course/Cruise/Charter/Event.
