Cruise with JBY... 'the complete yachting experience'

Consolidate on your course experience and build the miles. Clock up the 2500 miles for your Yachtmaster examination or just gain for more experience. Why not join JBY for a longer passage... we plan to visit the West Country, Channel Islands and the north coast of France.

Whatever your level of sailing, from beginners to the Yachtmaster, these weeks and weekends take account of your ability now and increase your practical skills to help you get to where you want to be! These 2-3 day weekends and 4-5 day weeks offer adventurous sailing for those wanting more experience and an opportunity for mileage building.

Cross Channel Weekends.....

A real fun weekend and great for the night hours and miles. Leaving Lymington on a Friday evening with the tide out through the Needles, we arrive in Cherbourg early the next morning. The trip across the Channel gives great opportunities for navigating the yacht. The crew splits into watches for the night hours. Arriving in Cherbourg early or indeed late the following morning, gives the opportunity to rest, visit local attractions, do some shopping (buy cheese & wine!) before dining with the crew at a local restaurant. Departure in the early hours of the Sunday morning (2 or 3 am) will see us back in Lymington by tea time on Sunday.

Summer Cruises...

Our summer cruise programme for 2012 is yet to be finalised, however as a guide we intend to offer cruises to the West Country, Channel Islands and France, visiting lovely harbours and anchorages along the way and experiencing some great sailing.
